Courageous, eloquent, and passionate are only but a few words to describe the excellent qualities of Lady Christine. Devoted to her walk and work with God, she serves faithfully and passionately alongside her husband as the First Lady at Henson Memorial, bringing her unique style to ministry. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Lady Christine graduated in 2001 from Rust College in Holly Springs, MS majoring in Business Administration and later obtaining a Master’s degree in Human resources in May 2019. She currently works with the Department of Treasury as a Supervisor Contact Representative/ employee advocate.

As a wife, Lady Christine believes that your home is your first ministry and without striving for a successful home, you cannot have a successful church. Together with her husband Pastor Aaron H. Henson, they’re actively raising four children.

As a minister, Lady Christine is very active with a focus on raising wonderful teenage girls for God under the umbrella called “Precious Jewels”. The Precious Jewels program is a ministry focused on helping young girls develop life skills such as cooking, sewing, and other home management skills which entails all they need to learn about running a successful home as potential mothers. She has also established “Women Enriched in Prayer”, an annual prayer conference designed to help bring deliverance to women in conjunction with “Authentically You” – another ministerial book club outreach that helps women embrace who they are in Christ. Lady Christine’s passion to share the love of God extends beyond the church into the community. As an employee advocate, she champions the cause of employees who are mistreated and abused in their workplaces. With an unmatched passion for the things of God, Lady Christine always has a word from the Lord and continues to share God’s love with everyone she meets.
